Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS)

Our role is to:

  • ensure safe integration of UAS,
  • maintain the “Big picture”,
  • safeguard the rights of all airspace users and
  • work together with all actors towards safe integration.

We do it through active collaboration with:

  • ICAO RPASP (Remotely piloted aircraft systems Panel),
  • UAS-AG (Unmanned Aircraft Systems Advisory Group),
  • EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency),
  • JARUS (Joint Authorities for Rulemaking on Unmanned Systems),
  • EUROCAE (European Organisation for Civil Aviation Equipment),
  • EUSCG (European UAS Standards Coordination Group),
  • INFORMAL Drones expert Group (led by EC),
  • SJU (SESAR Joint Undertaking).
  • EC (European Commission)
