Keeping to the lower end of our forecasts for November, the number of flights increased by 4.1% last month compared to 2016. The could be attributed in part to the collapse of Monarch Airlines and Air Berlin in October. 

In other news, IATA forecasts an increase in profits posted by European airlines up to €9.7 billion compared to last year's 8.3 billion. In November, oil prices also whent up to €53 per barrel.
