20 Years of Civil-Military Cooperation: A Collection of Skyway Articles
3 May 2017
With the early implementation of the revised Convention in 1997, EUROCONTROL formally became a civil-military organisation for the safety of air navigation and a unique platform for facilitating military-military and civil-military coordination and cooperation between Member States and the ATM community at large, for all relevant ATM, CNS and security matters in Europe.
Over the last twenty years, EUROCONTROL has built up an impressive track record of providing innovative solutions in the civil-military sphere, balancing economic, national security and defence needs.
These achievements are the result of the work done by the Agency together with our partners, our Member States and the great contribution of the members of our advisory boards (CMIC and MAB) and all those experts involved in the various projects that have strengthened the civil-military partnership and collaboration in air traffic management, delivering a more efficient and safe pan-European ATM network.
This publication gathers a collection of Skyway articles relating to civil-military coordination and cooperation.
