Safety Forum 2017 – Call for submissions

16 January 2017
On 6–7 June, the Flight Safety Foundation, EUROCONTROL and the European Regions Airline Association are organising the 5th Annual Safety Forum at EUROCONTROL’s Brussels headquarters. The focus of this year’s edition will be on runway safety.
The Forum will address best operational practice that can prevent runway incursions onto a runway that is already occupied or authorised for use, and explore what can be done to prevent a collision after a runway incursion has taken place. In addition, the Forum will consider what this means for our understanding of runway collision risk.
The Organising Committee is calling for front line professionals and those who train and manage them to share their experience through a presentation or poster. The closing date for submissions is 27 January 2017, and the selection will be completed by 17 February 2017. All submissions must be sent to the 2017 Safety Forum Organising Committee. Go to related links to find full details on submission requirements and processes.
For those interested in attending the Forum: attendance is free, but registration is required.
