Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Recover, Redesign, Remanufacture
EUROCONTROL is lending logistical support for the second edition of the 6Reen Aviation Symposium, organised jointly by Air&Cosmos magazine and Envisa, a global environmental consulting company specialising in sustainable aviation.
This symposium will be held at EUROCONTROL’s Experimental Centre in Brétigny-sur-Orge, France, on 11-12 October 2017. It will focus on actions to reduce the impact of aviation on the environment; 6Reen stands for Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Recover, Redesign, Remanufacture.
Twelve themes - such as “Why embracing sustainability makes good economic sense” and “Engaging with the community to foster understanding and enable cooperation” - will be debated by leading experts in the sector.
These two days should promote discussion and lead to deeper reflection on pressing environmental issues facing airports in Europe. Exchanges of views should prompt the emergence of new, greener and innovative solutions for a more sustainable, tenable air transport industry.
